In her current role as a home health aide, Karlie Vale Milstein works to assist her patients with various personal care activities, including administering medications, preparing meals, and grooming and bathing. Before beginning her position at Focus Family Care, Karlie Vale Milstein was able to draw on her love of animals in her work with Big Dog Ranch Rescue, where she served as a kennel technician, caring for and interacting with the animals.

In 2008 Ms. Milstein leveraged her artistic interests to serve as a volunteer teacher for a drawing class for residents of Inglis House, an organization dedicated to providing long-term care and assistance for individuals living with disabilities. She continued to volunteer at the organization the following year. In addition to art, Ms. Milstein is also interested in dance. She taught dance to children between the ages of 6 and 12 from 2006 to 2008.

Outside of her career, Karlie Milstein enjoys pursuing her artistic interests, including painting and drawing, and volunteering to care for animals on local farms.
